CALL SIGNS

CALL SIGNS is an ongoing series of works by Paula Crown drawing from The International Radiotelephony Spelling Alphabet (the most widely used radiotelephonic spelling alphabet, assigning codewords to letters of the English alphabet in order to be pronounced and understood over radio or telephone regardless of language barriers or signal quality) and elements of 3d mapping to investigate the liminal space between experience/perception and understanding.
